didn't change the strings on my then Yamaha FG-180 for some 8 years. We had a son racing karts, a daughter dancing, my wife was an RN, & I had my career at GM. Then one day, having passed the former Wilson & Lee music store (we were living nearby in 2005) 40 or 50 times, I said to myself, FFS, get some strings, & let's see if we can get 10 songs performable again. I did, got back into the local music scene, we moved to the Peterborough area 8 years later, I hosted for the KPMJ's for almost 3 years, followed my friend thru a series of venues, played in the EMG's GWR Longest Concert, some festivals, met my producers, recorded & released an album in 2018 & a single in 2023, met & did shows with amazing musicians. Booked & played The Dakota, 22/5/23; co-billed with the delightful Sarah Jayne Riley. Good to be back.
